After the discovery of the first Clovis point in New Mexico in 1929, several other Clovis sites in North America were found. The Clovis people came to be regarded as the first human inhabitants of the New World.
It has also been argued that the Clovis Culture ended in a very abrupt fashion. The archeological data are compatible with the family of Adam ending cataclysmically with Noah’s flood.
