How Imminent is the Lord’s Coming?

 Last Conference, President Dieter Uchtdorf admonished, “Brothers and sisters, we are charged with studying the word of God and heeding the voice of the Spirit, that we may ‘know the signs of the times, and the signs of the coming of the Son of Man.’” We read in the word, (JST Gen. 1:18)

And I, God, said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven, to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and for years, and let them be for lights in the firmament of the  heaven, to give light upon the earth; and it was so.

Further, the Lord says, “…all things are created… to bear record of me… things… which are in the heavens… and which are in the earth beneath…” (Moses 6:63).  I find it fascinating that the Lord uses signs in the heavens because Satan can’t duplicate those or use them to deceive.
