The Greatest United States Presidents

Everyone will have their own opinion on who the greatest United States Presidents are.  I choose my list from a restored gospel perspective.

1. George Washington – 1789–1797) The Commanding General for the Revolutionary War—acknowledging that we won because of “Divine intervention” and being our first President of this free nation where the fullness of the gospel was to be restored.

2. Thomas Jefferson – (1801–1809) He recognized the great apostasy from the original teachings of Christ. I have a copy of his “The Jefferson Bible.” He also anticipated the restoration and doubled the size of our country.

3. Abraham Lincoln – (1861–1865) because he freed the slaves and ended the Civil War—motivated as he read the Book of Mormon.

4. Theodore Roosevelt – (1901–1909) because he gave us our national parks, and the Panama Canal, and improved our international relationships.

5. Harry S. Truman (1945–1953) He stopped WWII, which opened up the gospel being taught in Japan

6. John F. Kennedy (1961–1963) because he stood up against the New World order, as Moroni said we should (Ether 8:23-26), and it cost him his life.

7. Ronald Reagan (1981–1989) He stopped the “Cold War” which opened up the way for the gospel to be taught in Russia. The recent movie, REAGAN, is well done.

8.  Donald John Trump (2017- 2021) A highlight from his first term in office is that he helped fulfill a prophecy to make Jerusalem the Capital of Israel—moving it from Tel Aviv.

9. Donald John Trump (2025 – 2029 The rest of this article is about what I believe will happen during his second term in office.

Christ-Centered

I watched the whole Trump inauguration ceremony. It was God and Christ-centered, which was awesome. The prayers, the music, and the President’s speech were most hopeful and inspiring. “In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me…”

Trump’s Outstanding Team

Trump has surrounded himself with an outstanding team. To name a few:

Robert (Bobby) F. Kennedy Jr: – He has a game plan to make America healthy again. He made an enormous and prayerful decision to not run for president himself and join the Trump camp. Despite great opposition, I believe he will succeed and add great momentum to Trump’s presidency. Everyone who knows Bobby loves Bobby. He is a great soul.

Elon Musk: How can you lose when that creative mind is working for you? He will be part of the much-needed government efficiency program.

Vivek Ramaswamy: He understands the value of our founding documents, and will contribute greatly to Trump’s presidency. He has an amazing track record. https://itsabouttimebook.com/who-is-vivek-ramaswamy/

Trump’s Promises

I believe that Trump will keep his promises made during his inauguration speech. I believe he will help bring an end to the war in Ukraine and stop the fighting between Israel and the Hamas.

I believe he will get the Panama Canal back, and bring industry back to the states. I believe he will move us toward energy independence, which is a big deal. CHATGPT.COM described the highlights of his speech quite well.

“Donald Trump’s inauguration address, delivered on January 20, 2017, outlined several key promises and themes. The main highlights of his speech included:

1.  “America First” Agenda: Trump emphasized putting the interests of American citizens first, focusing on prioritizing U.S. workers and industries over foreign interests. This became a central theme throughout his presidency.

2.  “Revitalizing American Manufacturing and Jobs: He promised to bring jobs back to America, particularly manufacturing jobs that have been lost to overseas markets. He spoke of reversing trade deals that he believed had hurt American workers.

3.  “Nationalism and Patriotism: Trump called for a renewed sense of national pride and unity. He declared that the power of government would be returned to the people, reflecting a populist, anti-establishment sentiment.

4.  “Economic Growth: The speech outlined plans to strengthen the economy by reducing taxes, deregulating industries, and improving infrastructure, particularly through public-private partnerships.

5.  “Law and Order: Trump emphasized the need to restore safety and security, especially concerning crime and violence. He promised to protect communities and ensure that law enforcement would have the necessary support.

6.  “America’s Global Standing: Trump also made it clear that he would take a tough stance in international relations, with a promise to defend U.S. interests abroad and negotiate more favorable deals with other countries.

7. “Rejection of Political Corruption: He made it clear that his administration would work against what he described as a corrupt political system, which was seen as a major part of his appeal to voters who were frustrated with the status quo.

8. “Patriotism and Unity: He urged Americans to come together, despite political divides, and unite behind the shared goal of making the country great again.
His speech was often described as blunt and direct, with a focus on stirring national pride and promoting a vision of national renewal.

God-Centered

For me, it was the God-centered aspect of the whole inauguration program including his speech. I loved when he said, “There are only two genders, male and female!”
I am impressed with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s prophecy about President Trump; this four-minute video is inspiring and filled with hope.

Someone who reads lips saw Obama saying to those around him during the President’s inauguration speech: “How can we stop this?” Clearly, the new world order and the global elite want to stop Trump.

However, we know who is at the helm, and God’s purposes will be fulfilled. Christ is Coming, and a ZION people will meet Him. It is an exciting time to be alive. We live in the best time in the history of the Earth. And the best thing we can do is align our lives with God’s purposes. “In God we trust.” The prophecies tell us that the conspirators fighting against the work of God will dig a pit, and then fall into it themselves. We live in the great and dreadful day of the Lord. A great day for the righteous, and a dreadful day for the wicked, who fight against ZION. May we look to God and live the abundant life Jesus promised? (Alma 37:47; John 10:10)
