The Bible is not a Myth. The notion that the Bible is a myth can be proven to be incorrect.  Unfortunately, a survey showed that 93% of the leading American scientists believed the Bible to be a myth. I will prove them wrong in one extremely important historical case.

In My Search for Truth

In my search for truth, as a believing scientist, I have three criteria: 1) If God says it, then I know; 2) I know a theory or hypothesis cannot be proven true. We don’t know enough; exceptions to the theory or hypothesis may yet be found that contradict it.  Only God knows enough to prove a theory or hypothesis true. And 3) If valid data exist, then a false theory or hypothesis can be proven false. Numbers 1) and 3) are extremely powerful in knowing the truth or what isn’t, respectively.

Jesus Planned Miracle Triggered Crucifixion

At that same time, “Caiaphas, being the high priest, prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation… [and] should gather together in one the children of God… Then from that day forth, they took counsel together to put him to death.” (John 11:49-53)

My Experiences In Jerusalem

In 1987, I was invited by the Israelis to help them in improving their atomic clock system, (UTC(INPL)). I spent a week in Jerusalem at their standards laboratory, and we ended up publishing some interesting papers together.  I ended up going back three more times to help them with their official clock timekeeping system for Israel. My wife was able to be with me for all four trips and five of our children were able to go to Israel as well. Being where the Savior walked and taught and worked out the infinite atonement is a life-changing experience.

During our first week in Jerusalem, a professor there prided himself in knowing all of the interesting historic places both for the Jews and Christians. Every afternoon he would take us to some fascinating place in Biblical history. I asked him if he would take us to Bethany. He was stumped—not knowing where Bethany was.

Just Where Did Bethany Go

On Friday of that week, he said, we are going to find Bethany. I knew about where it was from the New Testament. We got in his van and drove to a monastery on the south end of the Mt. of Olives, where he got directions. He then drove us to the “Bethany Souvenir Shop,” which is all that is left of Bethany.  Since Bethany was the place of the tomb of Lazarus, it did not make sense.

However, two weeks later, we went on a tour with Dan Rona, a Jewish convert to our church, who was born in Haifa. He is a dear friend, and he took us to the place where it is believed that Lazarus was raised from the dead.  He shared, that because of the miracle, the name of the town went from Bethany to the City of Lazarus. In Arabic is called, Alazaria. So our kind Jewish Professor added Alazaria to his list of known historical special places.

Christ’s Planned Miracle

Indeed, Alazaria is the place where the planned miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead occurred–a city given that name because of that miracle.  It is interesting that the Jews had a tradition that the spirit of a dead person lingered for three days around the body.  The Savior waited four days to raise Lazarus to share the “glory of God” with the world. “Jesus saith unto her [Martha], Said I not unto thee, that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” (John 11:4, 40)

Jesus knew that raising Lazarus from the dead would bring the Pharisees to plan for His death. But He also knew that the outcome would be the “glory of God” as He worked out the perfect and infinite atonement. This would give the world the greatest gift and miracle ever.  His incomprehensible gift would save the world from sin and death by overcoming the spiritual and physical deaths brought about by the fall of Adam and Eve–so that everyone who “believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Furthering the Work

I find it fascinating that Lazarus, Mary, Martha, Mary Magdalene, Jesus’ mother Mary, the blind man, whose name was Maximum, whose healing is shared in Chapter 9 of the gospel of John went to England and established the Church there.  Joseph of Arimathea was their main leader and later was ordained an Apostle. There was a total of twelve of Christ’s followers who went there. They established a Christian missionary effort greater than what is included in the New Testament.

The Passover is a type and shadow of Christ’s transcendent infinite atonement.  Easter is the celebration of Christ’s gifts, His atonement, which includes His paramount gift of the resurrection for all,  which brings us back into the presence of God to be judged under His perfect Laws of Justice and Mercy, and the opportunity for a fullness of joy. So the Passover ties into God’s perfect plan of happiness in a fascinating way.

Passover – A Feast to the Lord

The Jewish Seder to commence Passover has been preserved for over 3,400 years to “keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.” “…this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations;” (Exo. 12:14)

I recently watched a Messianic Jewish presentation of the Seder, which means order, and I was greatly impressed with how it ties to the Last Supper of the Savior with His Disciples and to the grand significance of the infinite atonement and Easter.

Viewed through the lens of the restoration of the gospel in both its physical and spiritual significance, the Jewish Seder brings deep meanings to the soul. Properly understood, it is designed to break down the barriers between Jew and Gentile so that we may all be one in Christ—to deliver all who will come to Christ out of slavery like He did ancient Israel and make us totally free—physically and spiritually. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free… If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”–individually and as a nation. (John 8:32, 36)  You will find the video links below fascinating and inspiring.

Additional Insights

When we realize that the Passover was designed by Jesus, who is Jehovah and our Redeemer, this deepens our understanding and opens up enlightenment as we see how the Lord designed the Passover with eternal significance. Isaiah shares: “all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.” (Isa. 49:26) Jesus knew what He would have to go through to work out the infinite atonement and designed the Seder to commence Passover over 3,400 years ago as a type and shadow of that transcendent infinite atonement. This He did so that both Jew and Gentile would have a deeper appreciation of this most important event in all the history of the earth, as He brought the world His perfect and infinite atonement.

In addition, going back to Genesis 22:8, when read in Hebrew, we find great significance as Abraham answered Isaac’s question, “…where is the lamb?”

“My son, God will provide himself [Jesus as] a lamb for a [final sacrifice] for a burnt offering.”

Some Details of Jewish Seder

We will see the great significance as we look at some of the details of the Jewish Seder. There were ten plagues that the Lord brought upon Egypt, but the first nine were only brought on Egypt and not on the Land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived. Only the tenth one with the death of the firstborn would then bring Pharaoh to honor Moses’ demand from the Lord, “Let my people go.”

The Lord designed the Passover so that a lamb without blemish be offered and its blood put upon the “lentil (the top of the door) and on the doorposts so that the destroying angel would pass by.

Jesus is the Lamb of God. So the Passover lamb is symbolic of Jesus and the blood of the lamb on the lentil and the doorposts are symbolic of the blood of Christ and the lintel is like the cross on which Jesus was crucified.

In our Day the “destroying angel” will Pass over Us if:

“And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones; And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures; And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint. And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.” (D&C 89:18-21)

But, Have We Been Deceived?

These three points are fundamental in our search for truth.

1.   You cannot prove a theory true; we don’t know enough. Only God knows enough. Correlation does not provide validation. This is a common mistake many make. If data agree with an idea, thesis, or theory, they assume it must be true, when in fact it proves nothing. Maybe it gives a person a warm feeling.

 2. You can prove an idea, thesis, or theory false if you have reliable falsification data. This is very powerful, and we will see that it is very important–to know what is not true so that we can move on to the truth.

3. You can only know something is true if God tells you, because, “by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.” (Moroni 10:5)

Validity of Prayer Is Proven by Science

Is it possible that the validity of prayer and answers to prayer can be proven by science?  Yes, a prayer channel can be opened and is proven through physics.  The “Fifth Dimension” is real.

We know that prayer is the most often repeated commandment in the scriptures. Prayer is our pathway to heaven. I learned some exciting dimensions regarding the physics of how prayer works when we were doing some research in the Unified Field Theory (UFT), which Einstein didn’t finish before he passed over. To keep it simple, Albert Einstein’s theories of relativity are built around four dimensions. We can think of them as longitude, latitude, altitude, and time. In our UFT research, we learned of a new insight in physics—called diallel-field lines—that includes a fifth dimension, which we call the Eternity Domain.

The Eternity-Domain

Unbeknownst to most, we learned that these diallel-field lines permeate the universe. The fascinating thing we have learned from the Lord’s physics is that when we were born as spirit offspring of our Heavenly Parents, we were given a diallel-field-line umbilical cord, as it were, that is always available to us to communicate with our infinitely loving God 24/7! This is so exciting to know that God is always there for us in a way that will be for our eternal best good, and when we have burdens, He will help us carry them (Matt. 11:28-30)

Seven is the Number of Completion or Perfection

Seven is the number of completion or perfection in God’s arithmetic: seven days in the week; seven thousand years to bring the earth to perfection; seven electron shells around the nuclei of all the elements with nominal spherical symmetry, and we learned that there are seven cylindrical shells associated with the diallel-field lines carrying all the energy fields and there are seven energy bands in these diallel-field lines.

These Seven Bands Permeate the Universe

These seven spectral bands with these diallel-field lines permeate the universe. They may be divided up in generic terms as follows:

1. The communication band (TV, radio, satellite, etc.)

2. The molecular band (coming from quantum transitions outside the nucleus); most of the visible light from the sun is in this band.

3. The nuclear band (coming from quantum transitions inside the nucleus) — a nuclear blast is a manifestation of this band.

4. The creation and/or annihilation band (where E = mc2 as matter and light convert with the emission and/or absorption of cosmic rays).

5. This is nominally the gravitational-field band.

6. This is the band used for mind-to-mind, mind-to-plant or animal or another object, mind-to, and from-God (our prayer channel), ESP, etc.; and lastly,

7. This is the band used by our great-loving Creator to bring about the grand harmony we see in the heavens and the Earth. Bands five, six and seven are not limited by space and time and the velocity of light.

Prayer, Our Communication Energy Frequency

So, prayer is our communication energy frequency in band 6. When we pray, we reach into the 5th dimension (Eternity-Domain) which defies time and space. Prayer is our umbilical cord to God. In prayer, science and religion come together. This is why God can hear all prayers at once. God is not restricted by time and space.

Validating  Experiments

I asked the Lord to give me some experiments to share with colleagues and the world to validate this new physics, which is really old physics because it is the Lord’s. He flooded my mind with experiments, and we have done seven to date. These are described in detail on my website www.allanstime.com and in Chapter 21 of my book www.ItsAboutTimeBook.com. One of the simple ones that anyone can do—showing evidence of these diallel-field lines–is why an egg can stand up on its end, experiment.

 The Fifth Dimension

This fifth dimension opens up some extremely important understandings about how the universe works – validating not only the existence of God but also our relationship to God. This new UFT theory has come as a result of opening ourselves up to a very different paradigm – providing harmony between all of the force fields in nature as well as with this new, fifth dimension beyond Einstein’s relativity theory. This new UFT has provided consistencies to heretofore unexplained inconsistencies as well as providing potential solutions to previously unsolvable problems. We feel like our seven experiments are like baby steps into the giant woods of God’s infinitely-extending physics by which, motivated by pure and perfect love, He brings about His work of bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of His precious sons and daughters, who we are.

God’s Goal

His goal is eternal lives for all who choose to repent and come unto His Beloved Son, who is the way, and the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Because Christ is perfect and worked out a perfect atonement — fulfilling the will of the Father — He can perfect us — in spite of our imperfections. His grace and mercy are offered to all. The only ones excluded from receiving a fullness of joy in His perfect plan in eternal realms of joy are those who choose to not repent and to not come unto Him and to not partake of all that He offers to give. Our choices and desires make all the difference.

Let Us Examine the Hard Question and Give Answers

“Why do people not get answers to prayer?” And give answers to how we can better communicate with God.  He has promised: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” (Matt. 7:7-8) The Savior further admonished, “…ye must watch and pray always, lest ye be tempted by the devil, and ye be led away captive by him.” (3 Nephi 18:15

Some Reasons Why People Don’t Pray

  • Pride: I don’t need the Lord; I can do it; Look at me and what I have accomplished! The opposite of pride is humility: Ps. 34:2, “My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.”
  • Sin: So we don’t feel like praying. He won’t answer me; I am a sinner. God knows, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “Pray always, that you may come off conqueror; yea, that you may conquer Satan, and that you may escape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold his work.” (D&C 10:5)
  • Ingratitude: Not being grateful for all things — both the good and bad in our lives. “And in nothing doth man offend God,… save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments. (D&C 59:21) One of his commandments is to pray always and to always have a prayer in our hearts. (3 Nephi 20:1)
  • Idolatry: We put other things before God — worshipping the works of men’s hands. We must put God first and know that He hears every sincere prayer. (The solution is keeping the First and Second of the Ten Commandments, Exodus 20:3-6)
  •  Selfishness: focus on personal welfare and advantage and disregarding others. The solution is unselfishness. “…he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” (Matt. 10:39) Unselfish service is one of the great rewards of life—to do things altruistically. My websites are altruistic. My goal is to bring people to Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6)
  • Competition: rather than cooperation. (New English Bible Gal. 6:1-5: “Each man should examine his own conduct for himself; then he can measure his achievement by comparing himself with himself and not with anyone else.”)
  • Unrighteous entertainment rather than having wholesome joy in the journey—seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, then all else will be added. (Matt. 6:33)
  • Resentments: Holding grudges and feeling offended; inability to forgive all. We must forgive all that we may be forgiven of all, “…of you, it is required to forgive all men.” (D&C 64:10) How can we offer a sincere prayer, if we are holding resentments in our hearts?
  • Too Busy: Caught up with life; no time for the Lord to pray and ponder His goodness. Put God first before everything; and the solution, again, is living the first two of the Ten Commandments. (Exo. 20:3-6) The problem is: “They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.” (D&C 1:16)
  • Lack of Faith: Seeing the evil, pain, and suffering. Many doubt that God is there. It seems a contradiction, but there is a profound explanation.
  • Not Living “The Law of Love:” We ignore the first and great commandment to “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Matt. 23:36-40) Realizing the Savior said that on these two commandments, “hang all the law and the prophets.” Living these two commandments not only opens up our prayer channel to God, if everyone lived these first two great commandments, but it would also remarkably solve all the world’s problems.  How important is that?

The Ideal Channel To Him

So, we have in God’s physics, this ideal prayer channel to Him. And we have experimental evidence of the same. for the existence of a fifth dimension — the Eternity-Domain — the domain where God and His angels do their work — the work of helping us fulfill our life’s missions, our relationship with God can grow and grow and the blessings of life will flow and flow, and eternal life is the promise. Nephi explains it beautifully: (2 Nephi 31:20-21)

“Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

“And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.”

Opening our prayer channel brings us into oneness with God, which is eternal life—bringing the greatest happiness in this life and a fullness of joy in the life to come and with our loved ones. (John Chapter 17) We cannot imagine a more perfect plan.

Saint Patrick’s day is celebrated worldwide. However, very few people understand his background let alone the myths which are associated with the holiday. It is an amazing story!

Clarifying Myths About Saint Patrick

Patrick is the most famous person of his age, the real man has been buried in a cloud of myths.

1. Two things that most people think they ‘know’ about Patrick are that he was Irish and Roman Catholic. In truth, he was neither.

2. “He used the shamrock to explain the Trinity.

3. “He was sent to Ireland by the Pope.

4. “He was a wonder-worker who staged miraculous duels with the Druids.”

None of these are true! He was British, and he belonged to the autonomous Celtic church.

Cutting Through All The Myths

The book by David W. Bercot, “Let Me Die In Ireland cuts through all of the myths about Patrick and presents the authentic, stirring account of one of the greatest missionaries who ever lived. His life is a compelling testimony to the incredible power of the gospel when preached and lived by a man of integrity. He gave up a comfortable life as an upper-class citizen of Roman Britain to live in poverty, suffering, and constant danger in Ireland. Forsaking all, he brought Christ’s love to the hated enemies of his own people to the very nation who had once kidnapped and enslaved him. Although ridiculed and rejected by his own people in Britain, Patrick changed the course of an entire nation.”

Complicated War in Ukraine

The war between Russia and Ukraine is complicated, and most people have no idea exactly what the conflict is about. Could it be for a number of reasons?

Is it about aggressive Putin, about Ukraine’s aggressive actions and the killing of those in the Russian-speaking part of Ukraine, about not wanting Ukraine to join NATO, and NATO’s lack of military support, about oil and natural gas, which are major economic issues for Russia and the world? Is it about the USA-initiated coup in 2014–initiating the current compromised leadership, about the globalist elite orchestrating their despotic depopulation agenda to put more money in their coffers, which are already overflowing, and to make more money on this war, about illegal money laundering? Or, is it about a “Biden Bungle” in this war like he bungled Afghanistan and that he is complicit in this war? Or is it about Ukraine being one of the most wicked countries in the world? Human trafficking is an enormous problem there. Yes, the war between Russia and Ukraine is complicated.

Did Biden’s Foreign Policy Start the War?

I listened to Glenn Beck’s interview with Tucker Carlson just after he got back to the States. Most of the interview was about Tucker’s interview with Putin.

Beginning at minute 41 of Glenn’s interview with Tucker, Tucker shares an extremely important perspective about what caused the Ukraine war. Tucker points out the craziness of Biden’s foreign policy by pushing Ukraine to join NATO, which would allow NATO to put nuclear weapons on the border of Ukraine against Russia. So, as Tucker points out, it is the craziness of Biden’s foreign policy that caused the war. No way was Putin going to let nuclear weapons against Russia be placed on the border of Ukraine against Russia.

It is like the New World Order folks (the global elite) orchestrating the 9/11 disaster, then blaming the terrorists. 911 What Really Happened (itsabouttimebook.com) As Tacker points out, the Biden foreign policy prompted the Ukraine war, then blamed Putin.

Some Background Insights

I share an insight that probably has no relevance to the Ukraine war but has long-term significance. These insights come from a technical and religious point of view. Because of my work with GPS, I receive the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) magazine, which gives the latest status on GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BEIDOU (the navigation satellite systems for the USA, EU, Russia, and China, respectively).  In the January/February issue, I learned that there is a 2021-2025 “Russia, China Ink Cooperative GNSS Deal (p 14).” Why wouldn’t Putin do that? China is his neighbor.

I also received the SPECTRUM magazine published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).  The IEEE is the largest technical-scientific publishing house in the world.  I have shared some blog articles, which have information from SPECTRUM and specifically about artificial intelligence (AI). AI is a major part of modern warfare and in my research, as I will discuss later. I have learned that China has a strategic plan to take over the United States.

The Biden Involvement

While Biden speaks hostility toward Russia because of the Ukraine war, we need to look deeper. As a major step in their strategic plan, I just received a “FACT-SHEET” prepared by the Center for Security Policy. stating, “How Joe Biden is Owned by Communist China,” which should not surprise those who have studied Biden’s election fraud that China helped set up the mechanism to bring about this major American deception. Joe’s son, Hunter, has major investments in China, and most of the world is aware of Hunter Biden’s massive illegal money laundering in Ukraine, which the new world order folks have tried to hide.

Harmful Conspiracies Destroy Faith

Deceptions or conspiracies are common schemes that can and are destroying faith. Satan uses anyone who will listen to him to distort the truth in order to destroy faith.  He has been successful as the masses are becoming more secular, and the number of atheists and agnostics is growing.  The Savior gave us a gauge, “By their fruits, ye shall know them.” (Matt. 7:15-20) And the Lord counsels, “Pray always,… that you may conquer Satan, and that you may escape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold his work.” (D&C 10:5) The globalist elite use philanthrope to cover their nefarious and satanic activities and deceptions–like the COVID pandemic. Fortunately, many people are waking up and being watchmen on the tower. It’s About Time!

Churches are Feeling the Effects of Secularism

Secularism is the indifference or rejection of religious considerations.  Christianity is declining as a result of secularism, driven in large measure by the liberalizing of our education system, the globalists taking control of the media and the internet, with their godless promotion of the theory of evolution, which often leads to atheism and the destruction of faith in God. All too often there are wolves among the sheep with people doing deceitful things within the rank and file.

Combating Misleading Information

Our good friend, Jonathan Neville, who is an excellent church historian, has uncovered several such historical deceptions made by past historians of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has several books documenting these. As Jonathan points out, the late Church Historian, Leonard J. Arrington, helped the Church prepare for the internet era, but as James and Hannah Stoddard have shared in their book, “Faith Crisis, Volume 2: Beyond Closed Doors,” they expose distortions made by Arrington that are misleading and destroy faith.

Exposing Conspiratorial Activities

My hope here is to help expose some other of these conspiratorial activities that destroy faith and bring about confusion and contention, and by so doing build faith and harmony. The Savior warned, “And there shall be no… disputations among you concerning the points of my doctrine… For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another (3 Nephi 11:28-29).”  If we know the truth then the deception gets exposed and we are freed from the harmful effects. The Savior said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth will make your free… If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:32, 36).”

Examples of Conspiratorial Activities that Destroy Faith

  •  The “Big Bang” theory for creation without God.
  • The theory of Organic Evolution and that the Genesis story is a myth.
  • Joseph Smith was not a prophet but a fraud.
  • The Hill Cumorah is in Central America
  • The only solution for the pandemic is vaccination.
  • The green movement needed to save the world.

There are several others, but here I just deal with these to know the truth about them, to build faith, to avoid contention, and to better prepare our hearts for the Lord’s coming.

How do we know the truth for sure?

Three Powerful Rules Regarding Truth Discernment

  1. We only know something is true if God tells us.
  2. We cannot prove a theory true; we don’t know enough. It is a common mistake when people see agreement with a particular theory or hypothesis, they assume it must be true. Data correlation does not provide validation. Only God knows enough to tell us something is true, which goes back to number 1.
  3. A very valuable tool we do have is that we can prove a theory false if we have valid falsification data.  So, we can know for sure something is false.

And the globalist elite are doing everything they can to take away our liberty, to make us slaves, and to depopulate the planet.  Fortunately, we see a lot of people doing a  lot of good things to combat Satan’s nefarious and faith-destroying activities.

The Truth Will Make Us Free

Because of the great importance of this scripture, “The truth will make [us] Free” – John 8: 32 I prepared a talk on the same. We have great promise. “…by the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things (Moroni 10:5). Always, God is the witness of the truth.

Thomas Jefferson and The American Dream

Thomas Jefferson had the best vision of the American Dream. He did more than any other president in bringing that about. There is a definite contrast between Thomas Jefferson and Joe Biden.

The American dream promises freedom and equality.  The ideals of the American dream are motivating, including the freedom to be in charge of one’s own life.

Jefferson clearly understood God’s gift of “Agency” (free choice) for all of his children.  On the other hand, Joe Biden and many other presidents have diminished our God-given agency through mandates and imposing laws that restrict our freedoms.  I share highlights here for why I believe Jefferson to be the father of the American Dream, and what we can do to counter those who are trying to take away our liberty.

Immortal Words, Penned by Jefferson

The immortal words, penned by Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, introduced the World’s most successful revolution. His words are inscribed in the hearts of every freedom-loving American.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with inherent and unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, that to secure these rights governments are instituted among men. We…solemnly publish and declare, that these colonies are and of right ought to be free and independent states…and for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

The American dream was the heart of his motivation, and no man in this or any other country in the Western world–excepting only Leonardo da Vinci–ever matched Jefferson in the range of his activities, in the fertility of his thinking, and in the multiplicity of his interests. The number of things Jefferson did or knew how to do still astonishes many.

Ancient Hebrews in Ancient America

I know of three occurrences in North America of ancient Hebrew renditions of the Ten Commandments in what is called “block Hebrew”.  I have a replica of one of those we saw in a museum in Ohio with the inscription of Moses in block Hebrew at the top. Glottology is the science of linguistics.  As Brian D. Stubbs shares, “Written records unearthed in the Americas have often labeled hoaxes … but… languages… show specific ties from ancient to modern time, and thousands of speakers of the related languages are beyond fabrication.”  Many label artifacts as hoaxes because they don’t conform to their paradigm for their being Hebrew and Egyptian relics in North America. David Hocking in the video link below shares a fascinating Hebrew language link to North America with the numerous Hebrew names ending in “ah.”  Many of these are also found in the Book of Mormon – a religious record of the Native American Indians.  These Native American Indians are Hebrews.

In The Tops of the Mountains

Utah is a Ute Indian word meaning “In the tops of the Mountains,” and obviously ending in “ah.”  So, using the Ute Indian word in Isaiah 2:2-3, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in [Utah] the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths:”

Great Lakes Artifacts

I have made friends with Brian Nettles, who is becoming an expert in reading from several of the artifacts in the Great Lakes area of North America where the Hebrew descendants used ancient Egyptian, as this was their language when they left Jerusalem in 600 B.C. to come to America.  I’ll share more about Brian’s exciting work below.

Book of Mormon – Ancient Hebrew History

The Prophet Mormon was born in 311 A.D.  He and his son, Moroni, abridged from their ancient writings what we now have in the Book of Mormon from Mosiah to Moroni along with their own personal writings, which is the last part of the book.  The language they wrote in was called “Reformed Egyptian.”  The gifted linguist, the late Professor Felix Mijnhardt of Pretoria University, deduced that when he was asked to translate the Book of Mormon into Afrikaans in the 1970s.  He deduced that it was written in “ancient Egyptian with Hebrew nouns added.”  Which is exactly what happened.  Professor Mijnhardt testified that the Book of Mormon was authentic scripture and that Joseph Smith had to be a Prophet of God to bring forth such a record, even though he was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church.

Egyptian Translation Confirmed

After Joseph received the gold plates from the Angel Moroni, Joseph copied off some of the characters and their translation, and Martin Harris took them to Charles Anthon; Martin records: “I went to the city of New York and presented the characters which had been translated, with the translation thereof, to Professor Charles Anthon, a gentleman celebrated for his literary attainments. Professor Anthon stated that the translation was correct, more so than any he had before seen translated from the Egyptian…”  Professor Anthon gave him a certificate so indicating this, but when he learned Joseph had received the record from an angel, the Professor tore up the certificate.

Changes In The Egyptian Writing System

As explained in the following link: https://itsabouttimebook.com/new-book-of-mormon-miracles/, the first part of the Book of Mormon was translated last in Fayette, NY.  They had translated the last part of the Book of Mormon about 100 miles to the south in Harmony, PA.  In Fayette, Joseph was given a new set of plates – called the “these plates” or the small plates, and this was not an abridgment like the rest of the Book of Mormon, but directly written by those responsible before the Lord to keep the records.  After they left Jerusalem in 600 B.C., it was 40 years later the Lord told Nephi to make the small plates, which include 1 Nephi through Omni and the Words of Mormon as a bridge between the first part and the last part.

Interestingly, in 600 B.C. the Egyptians were transitioning their writing system from hieratic to demotic Egyptian.  My amazing friend, Brian Nettles, who is learning how to read these ancient languages; has his website: https://bookofmormonheartland.com describing some of his work. The following characters were copied from the small plates in Fayette, NY, and are not “Reformed Egyptian.”  These characters were copied by John Whitmer, who also helped as a scribe while Joseph Smith was translating from the small plates in Fayette, NY, (1 Nephi through Omni). Unlike the Anthon transcript, the “Caractor” document does not include a translation of the characters. Brian Nettles, a good friend, has studied Demotic Egyptian and a “translation” of those “Characters” is now being made. Brian focused on 1 Nephi 2-3 as John Whitmer’s handwriting is found in the Original Manuscript throughout those chapters.  This image is from Brian’s website, and I quote from him.

“This document is now mostly translated. It is a mix of early demotic with hieratic Egyptian.”

Witness of the Book of Mormon Accuracy

Over nearly a thousand years the language evolved into what we now call “Reformed Egyptian,” which is what Mormon and Moroni wrote in.  We see that glottology leads us to some fascinating truths.  The main truth is that the Book of Mormon is another witness that Jesus is the Christ along with the Bible and that the resurrected Lord visited these ancient Americans and totally changed their lives, and they became a Zion people with all things in common. We have the marvelous gospel message that He can and does change ours as we come unto Him.

There are those who believe the Book of Mormon geography was in Mesoamerica.  We find no Hebrew writings there, while our good friend, Wayne May, has thousands of plates found in the Hopewell Heartland of America and Great Lakes region that have both Hebrew and Egyptian ancient writings. The Truth Shall Make You Free

The Savior said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)  I find the above truths very exciting and validating of our Savior’s mission of salvation and exaltation.
