Not All Scientists Agree With Darwin

darwinSince Darwin published his book on the theory of evolution in 1859, On the Origins of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Live, atheism has increased significantly.

Darwin’s work has become the accepted theory of the life sciences and his theory has become the explanation for the diversity of life. In contrast, all the great prophets throughout the ages have preached the creation, the fall, and the atonement (three pillars of eternity) as being fundamental to Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness and eternal life.

In their pride, modern scientists think to say, “Since the Bible doesn’t agree with us, the Bible must be a myth.  The people of the world seem to have lost track that the greatest scientist we have ever known, Isaac Newton, who says just the opposite.  Newton, along with many other early scientists were devout creationists.

Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist and mathematician who is widely recognized as one of the greatest scientist of all time and a key figure in the scientific revolution.  Most do not know that Newton spent more time in the Bible than doing science as is documented in his personal writings.

Isaac Newton Quotes:

“We account the Scriptures of God to be the most sublime philosophy. I find more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history whatever.” And, “No sciences are better attested than the religion of the Bible.”

“Search the scriptures thy self & that by frequent (reading) and constant meditation upon what thou readest & earnest prayer to God to enlighten thine understanding – if thou desirest to find the truth. Which if thou shalt at length attain thou wilt value above all other treasures in the world by reason of assurance & vigour it will add to thy faith, & steady satisfaction to thy mind which he only can know how to estimate who shall experience it.”

Newton Was a Visionary

Newton warned of false teaching of his day: “Look about thee narrowly, let thou shouldst, in so degenerate an age, be dangerously seduced and not know it (amist ) so many religions…there can be but one true and perhaps no one of those that thou art acquainted with.”

Newton saw the great apostasy of the “dark ages” as well as previous apostasies. Then he foresaw the glorious restoration: “And there appeared unto them Moses & Elias & they were talking with Jesus – And (the disciples) asked him saying why say he Scribes that Elias must first come. And he answered & told them Elias verily cometh first and restoreth all things.”

“For as often as mankind has swerved from (truth) God has made a reformation. God called Christ to reform them, & and when the nation received him not, God called the Gentiles & now the Gentiles have corrupted themselves; we may expect that God in due time will make a new reformation.”

The New Reformation

As we think about this “new reformation,” Jesus prayed, “And this is life eternal to know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3)  The dark age creed mystified God and His true loving nature.  There was a critical need for the world to know the true nature of God, and that we are His offspring (Acts 17:28).

The first thing that happened as part of this “new reformation” was the revelation of the true nature of God as the Father and the Son appeared to the young boy, Joseph Smith, in the spring of 1820.  Glorious things followed including new scripture that validate the Bible.  Most scientists believe the Bible is a myth.  Joseph was taught that the family is the most important unit in time and eternity, and we see Satan attacking it on every side.

God’s word is Truth given specifically to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of his precious sons and daughters. As we anticipate the glorious return of His Beloved Son, we will see much more of His word to bring about this the most important work on the face of the Earth in fulfillment of the Apostle Peter’s prophecy of the “restitution of all things:” (Acts 3:19-21) that the Lord will bring forth before His Coming.  We live in the most exciting time in the history of the world as we anticipate and prepare for the glorious return of our Savior.
